(water) and if fried rice is used, that Odana is still easier to digest. If Odana is prepared with heavy foods like milk or mutton soup, that will be difficult to digest.

Grains (particularly cereals and millets) fried in a vessel and grounded In a machine are known as Saktu. Saktu is easy to digest, pacifies hunger, thirst, tiredness, eye diseases and ulcers. They potently nourish the body and provide energy instantaneously when consumed along with water. There are seven things to be avoided while consuming Saktu and they are, 1. Drinking water while eating Saktu, 2. Eating Saktu repeatedly, 3. Eating along with meat, 4. Eating Saktu alone, with water, 5. Eating at night, 6. Chewing Saktu, 7. In larger quantities.
