| Meat soup |
|
| Meat soup, whether seasoned with spices or not is nutritive, nourishing, aphrodisiac, good for eyes and heals ulcers or wounds. |

| Pulse soup |
|
| Soup prepared of green gram dal forms wholesome diet. It can be used after purification, in patients of ulcers and throat and eye diseases.
Note – Soups either with meat or pulses are usually prepared by addition of sour fruits, salt, digestants and some or other spices.

| Horse gram soup |
|
| Soup prepared of horse gram sends the flatus out, cures intestinal growths and subsides Tuni and Pratituni (renal and vesical colic).

| Syrups |

| Panaka or syrups are prepared by dissolving sugar or jaggery with a dash of aromatic drugs and spices

| Flakes |
|
| Rice flakes pacify thirst, vomiting and diarrhoea. They can subside fats and glycosuria or diabetes. They are useful as expectorants in cough.
They alleviate excess Pitta but act as appetizer and are easy to digest. Their impact is cooking.
