Sumukha, Asuri, Bhustrna, Phanijia, Arjaka, Jambira etc; those cause irritation.

They are pungent in taste, drying, hot in potency, cordial, appetizing and they
promote taste perception |

| They diminish vision and Sukra dhatu. They are used in
worm infestation and are sharp in action. They irritate the dosas from their
place and all of them are easily digestible. |

|
| Freshly collected coriander seeds are bitter and sweet in
taste. Enhance urination but do not increase Pitta dosa.

|
| Lasuna is potently sharp. It is pungent in taste and post
digestive effect and is hot in potency. It is a laxative, cordial and is a good
hair tonic. It is heavy to digest, aphrodisiac, promotes oily secretions in the
body and taste perception while being an appetizer. It controls leucoderma, skin
diseases, intestinal tumours, haemorrhoids, diabetes, worm infestation, diseases
due to Kapha and Vata, hiccough, rhinitis, dyspnoes and cough. It activates
haemorrhages.

| Grnjanaka is highly sharp and absorbent. It is not advised
in either Pitta constitution or in diseases of Pitta.

| Surana is a good appetizer. It promotes taste, pacifies
Kaphadosa, clears the channels and is easy to digest. More specifically, it
forms a wholesome diet in haemorrhoids.
